Plate cooling is a refrigeration system that uses eutectic plates to maintain a suitable temperature level. The passive plates are connected to the power grid (380V) overnight. The freezing point of the eutectic solution is -33 °C. The eutectic plates serve to maintain the temperature of already frozen products.
