Chassis Saddle (Spedition configuration)

Fine-grain steel welded construction, fifth wheel plate with replaceable 2" kingpin. Drivable and loadable with construction/agricultural machinery up to a maximum gross weight of 24,000 kg and for construction machine widths up to 2,480 mm (however, the track width of the machinery or vehicles to be transported must not exceed 2,200 mm). Rear-mounted hook-on bracket for aluminium ramps (wider construction/agricultural machinery may not be loaded).

Outer frame, slightly angled, new version featuring "Load-Lock profile" for attaching tie-down straps. 14 pairs of recessed lashing rings in the outer frame, each rated to 2.5 t. 6 pairs of recessed lashing rings in the outer frame, each rated to 5 t.

24 t, 2-speed landing gear, single-side operation, with straight lower section, without compensation for push.

Free landing gear corner dimension or free rear swing radius: approx. 1,920 mm.
Foldable rear support.
2 wheel chocks with holders.
Aluminium side underrun protection.
Steel rear underrun protection.
Quarter-shell mudguards in front of and behind each axle.
With anti-spray mud flaps behind each axle.
1 spare wheel holder for 1 spare wheel including mounting set.

Axles & suspension:
SAF drum brake axles.
"Axles/chassis laser measured" to reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption.
Air suspension.
1st axle with automatic lift axle, additionally electrically operated from the truck, including forced lowering and starting aid, no truck installation required (starting aid operates up to 30% axle overload and max. speed of 25 km/h).

Brake system:
2-line compressed-air braking system.
Color-coded wiring for easier maintenance.
Spring-actuated parking brake.
2 non-interchangeable coupling heads at front (without connecting lines).
24 Volt EBS (Electronic Braking System) with EBS socket at front, no connection cable.

Note: The trailer may only be towed by towing vehicles that guarantee the functionality of the ABS!

Floor:
Phenolic resin-coated plywood panels, approx. 30 mm thick, designed for high point load, suitable for forklift axle loads up to max. 5,600 kg.

Front bulkhead / corner stanchions:
25 mm aluminium hollow profile, 1,350 mm high, corner stanchions in high-volume steel version.
Bulkhead additionally fitted with 1,250 mm high phenolic resin-coated plywood panel on the inside.
